* France - 5 Oct: Compagnie Maritime Nantaise M N announced the acquisition of Transports Maritime Côtier ("TMC"). Based in Dakar, TMC provides shipping services utilizing four vessels. Terms were not disclosed.
* Russia - 5 Oct: Rostekhnologii Corporation announced the acquisition of 52.2% of Vladivostok Air JSC. Vladivostok operates passenger and cargo aircraft in Russia and abroad. Terms were not disclosed.
* Malaysia - 7 Oct: Changhuat Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. announced the pending acquisition of the remaining 37.0% of Arus Dermaga Sdn Bhd for $7.6 million. Based in Malaysia, Arus provides the transfer of cargo between seagoing ships positioned alongside each other, either while stationary or underway.
US Domestic Transactions
* USA - 5 Oct: Express-1 Expedited Solutions announced the acquisition of LRG International Inc. for $3.4 million. Based in Tampa, LRG provides international ocean and air freight forwarding services.
* Financial Buyers
* Bermuda, 7 Oct: Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. announced the pending acquisition of PD Ports Limited for $158.7 million. PD Ports provides port and logistics services from 16 locations throughout the UK.
* USA - 8 Oct: CPP Investment Board and Sterling Partners announced the pending acquisition of Livingston International Income Fund for $387.6 million. Based in Toronto, Livingston provides customs brokerage, transportation, logistics and border services in North America.
