SURVEY * UK - 20pc of fleet managers unaware of Euro 5
The changes to have immediate negative cost implications
London,UK -Logistics Manager -5 October 2009: -- One in five fleet managers and owner operators is unaware of the Euro 5 legislative changes that came into effect on 1st October, according to lubricant provider Castrol... The changes require HGV operators across Europe to improve the carbon efficiency of their vehicles and reduce emissions... Of the fleet managers and owner operators surveyed 44 per cent thought that the changes would have a direct impact on their business, with 39 per cent of those expecting the changes to have immediate negative cost implications...
