Port officials announced their decision to develop a comprehensive plan June 27 after a closed-door meeting among port, business, transportation and labor leaders in Long Beach... Clean Trucks Program stakeholders had planned to vote on the proposal in July, but will now complete a comprehensive plan that will take at least 60 days... In the works are an economic impact study and an industry task force to make recommendations on implementing the program...
