Truck driver story * USA - Logs 3 million miles, without an accident
Gary Martin, 45, has driven the equivalent of 115 times around the EarthElk Grove,Laguna,CAL, USA -The Sacramento Bee (Sacramento, CAL), by Melissa Nix -June 28, 2007: -- "I just did the calculation, and that's what it comes out to," said Martin, a truck driver from Galt... Martin has clocked 3 million miles -- without an accident -- in his 26 years as a truck driver... That record is testament to the sort of meticulous and talented driver Martin is. He's an award-winning driver, too... On June 3, he won first place in the Twins class in the California Truck Driving Championships in Long Beach.
