* UK - New Jaguar XF Sportbrake : Designed for fleets

Whitley,Coventry,United Kingdom -Fleet Europe, by Tim Harrup -5 Nov 2012: -- Jaguar is launching a new model which is central to its increased success, particularly where fleets are concerned... When starting the car with the keyless start button, other refinements become obvious: the steering wheel, which had moved up for easier exit and entry, moves back into position; the gear selector button rises out of the central console, and the air conditioning vents in the fascia rotate open – a feature inspired by the rotating number plates on James Bond’s DB5… With a corporate sales function in major markets, Jaguar is expecting to see increased fleet sales and to see the XF Sportbrake spearhead a greater penetration of the premium segment...

Whitley,Coventry,UK -Motor Authority, by KURT ERNST -Nov 8, 2012: -- Jaguar Land Rover is recalling 4,195 Jaguar XF sedans, built for model years 2010, 2011 and 2012. At issue is a fuel tank outlet flange that is susceptible to cracking under certain conditions, leading to the possibility of a fuel spill. Most of the vehicles affected by this recall were assembled in Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich, UK plant, between April 2009 and January 2010. Newer vehicles may have received the defective part during service, as parts were supplied to dealers through October 2012. Jaguar XF models with cracked outlet flanges will likely trigger the “Check Engine” warning light, and may exhibit the odor of fuel in and around the car. In some cases, liquid fuel can accumulate under the fuel tank, leading to a fire risk in the presence of an ignition source...

Weiss -November 7, 2012: -- Maserati has revealed the first pictures and details of the all-new sixth-generation Quattroporte sedan ahead of a world debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show... The new Quattroporte maintains those Maserati staples that would be missed if they were to disappear – the toothy trident-branded grille and triple side vents, for instance. However, the new sedan takes some strides away from the old one in terms of its headlights and front fascia, taillights, strong belt line and triple-pane side windows. The car's extra length also makes a visual impression... The updated sedan will feature new engines, including a new V8. Maserati has yet to detail the specifics outside of teasing that it will get more powerful and more efficient...
