England held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday to debut its new liquefied natural gas (LNG) tractors for use in its Ontario, CA, dedicated operating division... The tractors are powered by a 15L, 450-hp. Westport GX engine that produces horsepower, torque, and efficiency equivalent to a diesel-fueled engine, PacLease said. According to the company, a typical Class 8 tractor such as the T800 using LNG could reduce greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 27% compared to a diesel vehicle...
