* Tokyo,Japan - 17 May: Niyac Corporation announced the pending acquisition of 15.6% of Sakurajima Futo Kaisha Ltd. ("SFK"). Based in Japan, SFK provides warehousing and marine cargo-handling services for heavy oil and bulk cargo at the Sakurajima wharf. Terms were not disclosed.
* Kuala Lampur,Malaysia - 17 May: MTTI Sdn Bhd announced the pending acquisition of 50.0% of Vitol Tank Terminals International B.V.("VTTI") for $735.0 million. Based in Rotterdam, VTTI operates a network of bulk logistics assets in the Netherlands and internationally.
* Åbyhøj,Aarhus,Denmark - 18 May: Danske Fragtmænd A.M.B.A. Af 1990 announced the acquisition of C. Schmidt & Son A/S.... Schmidt provides trucking and storage services from its base in Herning, Denmark. Terms were not disclosed.
* Amsterdam,The Netherlands - 18 May: Trifid Holding, N.V. announced the acquisition of the remaining 30.0% of C.S. CARGO Holding. C.S.... * Johannesburg,Gauteng Province,South Africa - 19 May: Santova Logistics Limited announced the acquisition of Aviocean (Pty) Ltd. for $2.9 million. Aviocean provides freight forwarding and customs brokerage services from its base in Kempton Park, South Africa.
* Chiyoda,Tokyo,Japan - 20 May: NYK Line announced the acquisition of the remaining 16.1% of Nippon Cargo Airlines Co. Ltd. ("NCA")... NCA provides scheduled and nonscheduled air cargo transport services from its base in Narita, Japan. Terms were not disclosed.
