* Japan - 4 April: Hitachi Transport System Ltd. announced the acquisition of Flyjac Logistics Pvt. Ltd. for $55.5 million. Based in Mumbai, Flyjac provides air and ocean freight forwarding, warehousing and reverse logistics services.
* Sweden - 3 May: Hasse Nilssons Transport AB announced the acquisition of Roine Larssons Transport. Roine Larssons provides bulk transport of flour from its base in Uppsala, Sweden. Terms were not disclosed.
* UK - 4 May: Bibby Distribution Ltd. announced the acquisition of Taygroup Plc. Based in Letchworth Garden City, UK, Taygroup provides transportation and warehousing services to food manufacturers, furniture retailers and electronic and appliance wholesalers. Terms were not disclosed.
* USA - 4 May: Arpin Group, Inc. announced the acquisition of Affiliated Transportation Systems, Inc. and eight of its affiliated companies. Based in Lawton, OK, Affiliated provides household goods transport services to military personnel. Terms were not disclosed.
