Pollution * Malaysia - All choked up over a dusty issue

Heavy lorries use the main road to go to a nearby quarry and this has been going on for more than five years

Taman Matang Jaya, Sungai Buloh,Malaysia -The Malaysia Star, by STUART MICHAEL -August 1, 2008: -- To add to these problems, residents have to keep their windows and doors closed at all times to prevent the dust from getting into their homes... Students and commuters in Taman Matang Jaya, Sungai Buloh, have been forced to put up with dust pollution daily... “It is madness. These lorry drivers don’t care about the children’s safety and drive fast"...Syed Sallehuddin, who has been living in Taman Matang Jaya for the last six months, said he had been suffering from a cough for about four months... “The doctor told me that it was because of the dust and bad air and gave me antiobiotics and the cough has gone now", Syed said...
