Giga-Liner Trucks * Holland - The new Kings of the Road?
Holland -Videoiz -July 5, 2008 -- Truck with a length of 25 meters and a total weight of 60 tons on German roads - it’s really at the moment is not really imagine... But in Holland, for example, are these giant carriers already everyday, 162 Giga-liners on their roads are already on the road - without problems. Arguments for Giga-Liner on German roads, there are more than enough: They consume little more than ordinary fuel trucks, could by its size but some traditional truck replaced. This is good for the environment and good for the wallet of freight forwarders... But there is a problem: Good for the environment would be these giant carriers only if they are not also some cargo transportation on the railway would, but by the lower cost would be very likely.
