Transporters Condemn * Bulgaria’s - Transit fees on Turkish trucks
İstanbul,Turkey -Today's Zaman -5 July 2008: -- The International Transporters' Association (UND) on Friday condemned Bulgaria's recently adopted regulation on the collection of transit fees from Turkish cargo trucks... Bulgaria, following its accession to EU, unilaterally cancelled its transportation agreement with Turkey, and on June 28 Bulgaria started to require 83 euros from every Turkish truck that uses the Bulgarian border to reach the European market... Turkey has 250,000 trucks crossing the Bulgarian border annually to carry exported and imported goods in the trade with the vast European market...
