Detroit,Mich,USA -WirtschaftsWoche magazine/ The Detroit News -6 Mar 2008: -- Volkswagen AG , Europe's biggest carmaker, denied a report, that it plans a full takeover of truckmaker MAN AG. "We are not going to buy a majority of MAN," Andreas Meurer, a Volkswagen spokesman, said in a telephone interview from the Geneva International Motor Show. "We are not on a shopping tour." The magazine cited unidentified people close to the Wolfsburg, Germany-based carmaker as saying Volkswagen wants to buy full control of Munich-based MAN by the end of this year. Any transaction wouldn't involve the truckmaker's breakup...
