* Sweden - Volvo January truck deliveries 20,856, up 49 pct yr-on-yr
Stockholm,Sweden -Thomson Financial/Forbes (NY,USA) -4 Mar 2008: -- AB Volvo said deliveries from its truck operations, which include Volvo Trucks, Nissan Diesel, Mack and Renault Trucks, rose 49 pct in January compared with the corresponding period last year, to 20,856 units... Deliveries from Mack fell 15 pct, while deliveries from Renault Trucks increased by 45 pct, and those from Volvo Trucks rose 15 pct. In Europe, group deliveries rose 40 pct from Jan 2007, while North America posted a 13 pct decrease compared with a year earlier... South America rose 15 pct, while Asian deliveries rose 511 pct...
