Darwin,NT,Australia -ABC Online - 21 Sept 2007: -- The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) is keen to adopt European technology which involves putting more trucks on trains to reduce pressure on the transport system... It is called intermodal transport and is one of the concepts being discussed at the 23rd World Road Congress in France... The ATA's Northern Territory representative Peter Goed says it is a logistical challenge but worth considering...
