The company's factory, which employs 1,200 people in Farington Moss, Leyland, has produced more than 11,000 of the 14,577 DAF Trucks which were sold in the UK last year... It helped DAF stretch its share of the national market to 26.2%, an all-time record for the company, and produce its second-highest volume in 18 years...
