Denver,CO,USA -Rocky Mountain News, by Todd Hartman -August 2, 2006: -- Nearly five years after a pair of gasoline spills that killed 17,000 fish in two Colorado rivers, the trucking company responsible has agreed to spend $600,000 on an environmental cleanup project to make amends... The agreement between the Colorado Division of Wildlife and Iowa Tanklines requires the Nebraska- based company to remove mine tailings from a section of Clear Creek near the Donna Juanita Mine west of Idaho Springs, as well as build a retaining wall to prevent more tailings from spilling into the creek...
