Rates - Canada - Trucking company unhappy with LRB order
It's bad for business...
VANCOUVER,Canada -CKNW(AM980) -Aug, 02 2006: -- That from a local container truck company after it was ordered to pay a standardized rate and fuel cost... Bob Simpson of Port Transport says the order from the Labour Relations Board will drive away clients who won't pay the full rates... Simpson says the rates should be relaxed for shipping locations which are only a few kilometers away... Meanwhile, the Canadian Auto Workers' Union is claiming the ruling as a victory...
