EcoNews - China - Emission rules to make moving more difficult
Shanghai,China -Shanghai Daily, by Chen Qian and Song Yujia -6 Aug 2006: -- Tough new vehicle emission standards could make it difficult for downtown residents to hire a moving company as of October 1, and could force many small moving firms out of business... The new rules ban any cargo truck that doesn't meet emission standards from operating within the Inner Ring Road from 7am to 8pm... Currently, about 400 of the 600 moving trucks operating in Shanghai are not able to pass the standards, said Wu Yunfeng, secretary-general of the House Moving Commission of the Shanghai Road Transport Trade Association...
