Recall - Australia - Issued for Freightliner Century and Columbia trucks
Australia -Australasian Transport News (subscription) -5 July 2006: -- DaimlerChrysler Australia/Pacific Pty Ltd has issued a recall on Freightliner Century and Columbia trucks... The company says one or more of the special fasteners securing the hub to the steering wheel may be too short to provide the required engagement on the pin, which in turn could cause the steering wheel to become loose, or even separate from the hub... This is a national recall and owners will be individually contacted by the company...
