* USA - Electric car may spark sales
GROSSE POINTE WOODS,Mich,USA -The Detroit News Christine Snyder-6 July 2006: -- After 35 years working in the automobile industry, Richard Marks, president of EcoV Electric in Grosse Pointe Woods, has spent the last three and half years developing the prototype. Now his mission is to see these vehicles in production and in use... The EcoV is a low-speed, street-worthy vehicle that uses six eight-volt batteries. It is noiseless and emission-free. "For 50 cents of electricity out of a standard wall outlet, you charge it and are ready to go another 25 to 40 miles day in and day out," Marks says...
