* Russia - Kamaz to export India-assembled trucks to third countries
New Delhi,Delhi,India -ITAR-TASS/Nikolay Moshkov -November 18, 2014: -- An Indian unit of Russian truck producer Kamaz will export trucks assembled in the country to third countries, the producer’s CEO Sergey Kogogin said at a business forum Tuesday... The Indian subsidiary’s output amounted to 152 trucks in the 2013-2014 financial year. In the 2014-2015 financial year, the company will assemble about 150 trucks, Kogogin said... The plant was launched in 2010 as a joint venture of Kamaz and India’s Vectra Group, with the Russian company holding a 51% stake. Earlier in 2014, Kamaz bought out a stake of its Indian partner in the plant, increasing its total interest to 100%...The company has already carried out some supplies to African countries and is working on supplies of vehicles from India to Myanmar and Bangladesh, the producer’s CEO Sergey Kogogin says...
* Turkmenistan - To buy 1,500 Kamaz trucks in Russia
Ashgabat,Turkmenistan -ITAR-TASS/Nikolay Moshkov -November 18, 2014: -- Turkmenistan will buy 1,492 Kamaz trucks and special machinery as well as spare parts to them to the tune of $125 million in Russian Republic of Tatarstan... As many as 8.85 thousand Kamaz trucks are used in Turkmenistan... Turkmen enterprises of water economic sector and oil and gas industry, Defence Ministry, Interior Ministry and border service are among major buyers of Kamaz machinery...
