Chicago,ILL,USA -PickUp Trucks, by Mark Williams -November 3, 2014: -- To put it simply, October sales were quite strong, but that's not unusual given that, historically, pickup sales finish strong the last four months of the year. Add to that the fact that average fuel prices are down (below $3 per gallon in some parts of the country), pent-up demand is beginning to relax, certain sectors of the economy are showing growth, and there is a significant amount of incentive money available for new half-ton and heavy-duty pickups, and you have a recipe for strong truck sales. Some analysts are predicting year-end sales totals to be almost a million units stronger than last year, hovering around the 16.5 million units mark...
