* Texas - FlowBelow completes first major trucking company contract


Austin,TXS,USA -The Austin Business Journal, by Christopher Calnan -Oct 31, 2014: -- After five years of development, aerodynamic systems maker FlowBelow Aero Inc. reached its first major deal to supply its product to a 1,200 semi-tractor trucking company in New Mexico... FlowBelow Aero, founded in 2009, develops wheel covers and products to improve the aerodynamics of vehicles such as tractor-trailers, saving operators fuel costs in the process... The product costs $1,800 to outfit one vehicle. But the cost is lower in larger orders, FlowBelow Inc. President, Josh Butler, said... The 1,200 FlowBelow Tractor aerokits bought by Mesilla Valley Transportation is expected to reduce the fleet's fuel consumption by more 300,000 gallons of diesel per year while, saving the company more than $1 million annually, according to MVT officials...
