* Washington - Kenworth to showcase new 2013 PACCAR MX-13 engine, at World Of Concrete

Kenworth’s World of Concrete booth features a lineup of five Kenworth mixer trucks, including two natural gas vehicles. The new 2013 PACCAR MX-13 engine makes its trade show debut at this year’s show. The new 12.9-liter engine offers a range of 380 to 500-hp and 1,450 to 1,850 lb-ft of torque. The high end horsepower and torque ratings are an increase over those previously offered for the 2010 PACCAR MX engine...

The MP8 features three ratings and special performance calibrations unique to the concrete pumping industry, Mack said. Ratings range from 425 to 505 hp. with 1,760 lbs.-ft. of torque...


* Indiana - Cummins reveals 2013 model year engines 

Columbus,IND,USA -Fleet Owner -Feb. 6, 2013: -- A full range of 2013-model year truck engines is being shown off by Cummins at the World of Concrete show in Las Vegas this week – including the new 12-liter natural gas-fired Cummins Westport ISX12 model, due to start limited production this April. Cummins said its 2013 on-highway diesel engines designed for vocational applications, including the 12-liter ISX12 and 9-liter ISL9, should provide up to 2% better fuel economy compared with its 2012 model year engines – with both certified to meet 2013 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) greenhouse gas (GHG) and fuel efficiency rules that take effect in 2014...
