* Sweden - Volvo Cars looks for partner to build autos in North America
 Gothenburg,Sweden -Bloomberg News/The Detroit News (USA), by Tommaso Ebhardt and Ola Kinnander -June 21, 2012: -- Volvo Car Corp., the Swedish automaker owned by Chinese manufacturer Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., is seeking a partner that can help it build vehicles in North America... Cooperation would ideally be with any carmaker that Volvo agrees to work with on sharing development costs on smaller cars, Jacoby said in Monaco. The carmaker is talking to a "couple" manufacturers, the German executive said, declining to name the potential partners...

The Chinese-Japanese consortium and the bankruptcy administrators who are leading the disposal of the Swedish carmaker are continuing negotiations over the rights to the brand name with defense company Saab AB and truckmaker Scania AB.
