* Germany - New combined transport service between Poland and Italy for Schenker

Berlin, Germany -Truck and Business (Belgium), by Claude Yvens -20 January 2012: -- DB Schenker has a new combined rail and road transport service launched between Poland and Italy, notably between Verona and the terminal in Ostrava, located on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. The complete train sets, three times a week thanks Cemat, Bohemia Kombi and Kombiverkehr include 28 sites, of which 12 are reserved for DB Schenker, for their own trailers. The Polish and Italian subsidiaries of DB Schenker is responsible for pre-and mail, with a total transit time of two or three days...


* Germany - DHL pulls the full CNG card

* France - STVA takes over Romanian Bengali Auto Logistics

The latter allows 53 people worldwide, has its own fleet and a 'compound' of 20 acres for the storage and preparation of vehicles in the vicinity of Bucharest. Sales amounted to 3 million euros...  This acquisition strengthens the position of STVA in South Eastern Europe...
