STATISTICS * USA - Transportation Sector Revenue by Industry
Washngton,DC,USA -US Department of Energy -April 19, 2010: -- According the latest Economic Census (2002), the trucking industry is the largest contributor of revenue in the transportation sector, contributing more than one-quarter of the sectors revenue. The air industry contributes just under one-quarter, as does other transportation and support activities, which include sightseeing, couriers and messengers, towing services, port and airport operations, and other support activities.
