Used Van Prices * UK - Soften following bumper months
London,UK -Road Transport, by Ian Tonkin -11 November 2009: -- Average used van prices fell slightly in October, with values dropping by £4 to £3,858, compared with September's peak of £3,862, reveals British Car Auctions (BCA)... This is the first fall in average prices since June, but values are still up by £755 when compared with October 2008... This fall in price has been blamed on an influx of fleet and lease vehicles entering the wholesale market in the last quarter of the year... Of the three main sectors – fleet and leased, dealer-entered part-exchange and nearly-new vans – it was only the one-year-old nearly-new vans that improved upon its September figure...
