* New Zealand - 3 Aug: Renwick Transport Limited announced the acquisition of the general cargo and fertilizer arm of Broadbridge Transport Ltd. Broadbridge provides the transportation of livestock and logs from its base in Marlborough, New Zealand. Terms were not disclosed.
* Canada - 5 Aug: Groupe Orléans Express, Inc. announced the pending acquisition of Groupe Gaudreault Inc. Gaudreault transports over 100,000 people per day by bus throughout Quebec. Terms were not disclosed.
* Germany - 11 Aug: Landgard EG announced the acquisition of a stake in Gemüseversand Heinz Korff GmbH ("GHK"). Based in Straelen, Germany, GHK packages and transports produce. Terms were not disclosed.
