TRUCKERS' STORIES * Australia - Gleaming trucks shine in the sunny weather
Grafton.NSW,Australia -The Daily Examiner, by David Moase -8 June 2009: -- After watching weekends of rain go by recently, Barry Chapman was more than a little concerned about the fate of Grafton's annual Weekend of Trucking... The Grafton Truck Drivers Social Club president need not have worried, however, as the sun shone down and ensured another successful weekend dedicated to truckers and their families... More than 70 prime-movers joined the parade down Prince Street on Saturday morning, which was watched by an enthusiastic crowd... The sound of air horns was everywhere as the drivers showed their appreciation at the turnout... After that, truckers, their families and the public mingled at the Grafton Showground for the remainder of the day... (Picture from farm2.static.flickr: Jacarandas in Grafton)
