* Canada - 19 May - Terracore Specialty Drilling Ltd. announced the pending acquisition of Northwell Oilfield Hauling Ltd. for $4.2 million. Based in Edmonton, Northwell provides oilfield trucking services to the production and completion market segments in Canada.
* Russia - 20 May - JSC Russian Railways announced the acquisition of 51.0% of Black Sea Ferry Investment. Based in Russia, Black Sea ferry operates the Caucasus-Poti train ferry. Terms were not disclosed.
