Such a load cell typically includes a load responsive spring element, or counterforce, and strain gages mounted on the counterforce and connected together in an electrical bridge circuit... A dual beam moment insensitive load cell with the strain gages centered on and parallel to the central axis of the beams employs both these techniques...
