CUDIS -August 18, 2008: -- An 800-square-meter showroom will soon rise in Mabolo, Cebu City to showcase three China truck brands—Foton, Yuejin and Faw—to the local market... With the showroom set to open in September or October, the brands are expected to fill in the demand for trucks used for commercial operations... The Foton brand is under Chinese car maker Beiqi Foton Motor that supplies domestic and select international markets with cars, light and heavy-duty trucks, as well as farm machinery... Light-duty truck Yuejin, on the other hand, is under the Nanjing Automotive Corp., a state-owned enterprise and one of the oldest Chinese automobile manufacturer. Faw (First Automobile Works) is a diversified maker of quality light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, automobiles, municipal buses and luxury tourist coaches, custom bus chassis and mini-vehicles...
