EVENT * USA - 2008 Great Salt Lake Kidney Kamp Truck Show
Salt Lake City,UT,USA -CruxPhoto/Nate Young Photography -19 Aug 2008: -- ... Friday and Saturday was the 2008 Great Salt Lake Kidney Kamp Truck Show. This is a fund raising show that raises money for the National Kidney Foundation of Utah and Idaho... Primarily this money goes towards their camps they offer to dialysis patients to allow them to travel to new locations, but still have access to dialysis... Each year, a huge number of polished up semi-trucks roll in and show off there paint jobs, chrome accesories, and brilliant lights. Some talk about their age and milage with great pride. Either way, the trucks were pretty impressive, especially for someone like me who had never seen anything like this. One of the best trucks was the Systems truck from Quebec, Canada. This was the crowd favorite for sure... Congratulations to all the truckers and thanks for donating to a good cause.
