As if fuel price hike was not enough, the Indian transport industry is forced to face a new crisis
New Delhi,India -NDTV.com, by Madhu Bharathi -July 6, 2008: -- ... At least one in every four trucks is left in terminals because of shortage of drivers... Not many opt for truck driving as a career because they are looked down upon by the society... Already 25 per cent of trucks are off the roads because there are no drivers and worse not many are opting to be behind the wheel...
