Wuhan,China -The Detroit News (Detroit,Mich,USA) -9 April 2008: -- Cummins said it has opened a fuel systems manufacturing plant in Wuhan, China... The $10 million plant is the company's first such facility outside the United States... Wuhan also is the site of a regional service center and a joint-venture technical center, said Columbus, Ind.-based Cummins... Cummins Fuel Systems designs and manufactures new and replacement fuel systems primarily for heavy-duty on-highway diesel engine applications...
