Tolls could soon be increased at crossing points along the Hudson River in New Jersey and New York...

Tolls at Port Authority crossing points such as the George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel and Holland Tunnel were last increased in 2001... Proposed toll rates could increase by one-third from the base total of $6 to $8, The Times reported...
