USA -Light & Medium Truck -18 October 2007: -- Cold weather state drivers, fleet managers should watch tire air pressure in winter. You should replace worn tires for winter to get increased bite in snow, slush. And tires w/ remaining wear can be stored, reinstalled in summer...
IMPORTANT:
* Tires shouldn't be checked in extreme cold in snow in case valves freeze, leak
* Valves frozen open should be worked w/ pressure gauge to dislodge ice
