* Bottler's trucks to run on biodiesel mixture
Poland Spring,ME,USA -The Kennebec Journal (Augusta,ME), by VALERIE TUCKER -June 02, 2007: -- Poland Spring's tanker trucks will be a little greener when they deliver their bottled water to customers... The company's 52 tankers, along with 12 contracted trucks, immediately will begin using a biodiesel mixture provided by Maine-based energy suppliers C.N. Brown and Lampron Energy... Area filling stations contracting with Poland Spring will retail the fuel to the public and third-party trucking companies...

* Fire destroys MD trucking company
Baltimore,MD,USA -Land Line Magazine -June 4 , 2007: -- A six-alarm fire Sunday night destroyed the offices and warehouse of a trucking company that’s operated in the Baltimore, MD, area for more than 100 years... The building that housed Wollenweber’s Trucking and Warehousing was also home to a charity for sick children and their families, which used space donated by the trucking firm... Most of Wollenweber’s business comes from hauling and storing paper products...

* Canada - Trimac buys liquid gas hauler
Calgary,Alberta,CAN -Today's Trucking -4 June 2007: -- Bulk trucking giant Trimac Income Fund has completed the purchase of the Alberta-based Logistics Express, Inc. ("Logex") for about $1.7 million... Logex transports liquefied gases such as oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide primarily on behalf of industrial gas manufacturers. Trimac acquired 15 trailers and 31 independently owned tractors... Trimac's U.S. affiliate concurrently acquired the U.S. based business and assets of Logex...
