The older I get, the less I like trucks

They kill people, they ruin roads, they deprive working men and women of millions of work hours by jack-knifing on the highway and getting their asses stuck in tunnels too small for them, they guzzle up the country’s energy resources, they inflict on folks food products from thousands of miles away which they shouldn’t be ingesting, and they make our air chunky with bits of carbon... On occasion I get to exact a tiny bit of revenge. Like this morning, on my way to shul, when this 18 wheeler tried in vain to make the turn into Rivington from Pitt. On such occasions I automatically take out the phone camera and start shooting, in case the truck nicks a parked car, always happy to provide the car owner with the record of the violation. So this time I noticed the truck driver got really upset as soon as I took out the phone and pointed it at him. He was livid, waving at me and demanding to know what I was doing and why...Labels: anti-trucker
