Govt vows to continue the fight
Australia -ABC Online -Sept 28, 2006: -- The Federal Government has rejected a suggestion that Australia should adopt a harm minimisation approach to amphetamine use... The suggestion was made by US Professor Ernie Drucker at the Australasian Amphetamine Conference being held in Sydney today... Professor Drucker says the Government should focus on finding a safer drug for amphetamine users, similar to the methadone approach for heroin addicts... But the parliamentary secretary to the Federal Minister for Health, Christopher Pyne, says that is not part of the Government's policy... (Photo: Fight ...
