Jury - USA - Awards Mack Trucks $11 million
It is ruled that Ohio distributor gave away trade secrets
Allentown,PA,USA -The Allentown Morning Call, by Jeanne Bonner -Oct 14, 2006: -- An Ohio truck dealership has been ordered to pay $11.3 million to Mack Trucks for divulging trade secrets... The award in favor of Mack Trucks is the result of a lawsuit filed in 2002 by Toledo Mack Sales and Service as an anti-trust case... The Ohio dealership had said that Mack Trucks of Allentown had tried to block it from selling outside its immediate territory. Toledo Mack also said the manufacturer sold it trucks and parts at higher rates than it charged other dealers and customers... Mack countersued that Toledo Mack misappropriated confidential business information, violated a contract and infringed on copyrights...
