Discrimination - USA - Trucking firm accused of
Cleveland,OH,USA -WKYC/TV -3 Apr 2006: -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed a lawsuit against trucking firm Pitt Ohio Express Inc., accusing the Pittsburgh-based company of discrimination... The federal lawsuit filed Friday in Cleveland says the company refused to hire to women seeking jobs as truck drivers and dockworkers at Ohio terminals. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says the trucking company hired men over women who were equally or better qualified dating back to 1997... Pitt Ohio Express did not immediately return a call seeking comment...
