* Montana - From truck to table: How severe weather plays a role in the trucking industry

Frank Molodecki, fleet risk and safety manager at Diversified Transfer and Storage says, there are many challenges weather poses on drivers making the long haul including the amount and type of fuel, establishing a route, bringing along the necessary supplies and looking at yesterday's weather and forecasting the trip. Drivers become their own specialized forecasters... During spring, severe weather can pose risks in Montana and across the country. High winds can be exceptionally tricky in navigating the Treasure State... Molodecki says consumers don't usually feel the pinch of severe weather delays until it becomes a serious issue. While Montana has tricky weather because of the vast terrain, there are some benefits of a rural state:..
