-- With its “Rolling Laboratory” approach, UPS has invested in a fleet of more than 5,000 alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles running on natural gas, propane, ethanol, biomethane, renewable diesel, and electricity. The rolling laboratory provides an opportunity for UPS to determine how these vehicles perform in diverse, real-world operating conditions, then quickly deploy viable options at scale based on market and operating conditions. UPS has driven more than 500 million miles in this sustainable fleet and is more than halfway toward a goal of driving 1 billion miles by the end of 2017...
