TRUCKS RECALL* USA: More than 100,000 Kenworth trucks recalled

* DC - Due to a water leak in the wiper motor

-- Eleven models of Kenworth trucks from 2011-2016 have been recalled due to a water leak in the wiper motor, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration... More than 100,000 Kenworth trucks manufactured from November 2010 to April 2015 are affected...  A recall investigation found that water was getting into the windshield wiper motor, causing the intermittent setting to fail... Visibility during weather with precipitation could be reduced and increase the chance of a crash. Corrosion and electrical shorts are also possible with the water leak, increasing the risk of a fire... Notifications have not been scheduled as Paccar is still working on a solution to the issue...
