* Indiana - Classes 5-7 Truck orders climb in May as Class 8 orders descend

-- Net orders for Class 8 tractors totaled just over 20,500 units in May, while Classes 5 through 7 trucks posted 19,900 net orders, according to the latest State of the Industry report, just released by ACT Research Co. (ACT). The report covers Classes 5 through 8 vehicles for the North American market... Steve Tam, ACT’s vice president of the commercial vehicle sector, said that, amid an economy sending mixed signals, the North American Class 8 market performed to expectations in May...
