Vancouver,BC,CAN -The Motley Fool, by Jason Hall -September 6, 2014: -- Westport Innovations has become a "love it or hate it" company over the past several years. The promise of cheap domestic natural gas reducing our dependence on imported and more polluting gas and diesel for transportation is incredibly appealing. As the producer of some of the most innovative technology for natural gas engines, Westport's promise has drawn a lot of attention.
