Muscat,Oman -The Muscat Daily, by Mohammed al Belushi -August 13, 2013: -- The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) is considering reserving a lane of the proposed four-lane Batinah Expressway for movement of trucks... Addressing a recent gathering at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, H E Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim al Futaisi, said: “We may reserve the right lane of the Batinah Expressway for movement of trucks to reduce pressure on other lanes"... He said that the road linking Thumrait to Salalah Port in Dhofar governorate is one of the busiest in terms of movement of freight traffic in the country...
