Soderjtdale,Sweden -Truck and Business (Belgium), by Claude Yvens -21 March 2013: -- Today two new Scania Euro 6 engines: a 13-liter 6-cylinder and 16-liter V8. Scania promises that the new 450 and 490 hp will show up to 2% more efficient than their predecessors. The new 410 hp will earn 1% in consumption... According to Scania, a Streamline equipped with new engines and Euro 6 Active Prediction installed on the transmission Opticruise will save up to 8% fuel... Transmission Scania Opticruises' adds new options, such as Scania Active Prediction series now saves 4-5% fuel. Also landed Opticruise Basic version, as well as saving mode which aims at maximum fuel economy on long distance...
